Saga Education
Lead Math Tutors support a small caseload of middle or high school students with daily, high-dosage math tutoring using Saga’s curriculum. The role splits time between direct tutoring (at least 3 class periods/day) and supporting other students in the room through small-group activities, independent practice, and assessments. Lead Tutors also provide on-site leadership by supporting Site Directors, mentoring new tutors, analyzing student data, and communicating with families.

The role blends coalition-building, public engagement, communications, and direct lobbying, and includes leading a summer grassroots campaign office with fundraising and staff management responsibilities.

Provides member-facing benefits support under the Director of Member Services and Operations and/or the Executive Director. Supports nationwide fundraising growth by expanding and managing the donor/prospect pipeline in close partnership with the Fundraising Manager and Managing Director of Development. The role focuses on prospect research, donor communications support, CRM/data management, reporting, and assisting with virtual and in-person fundraising events. Travel is expected about 10% annually.

The Legal Assistant supports a rapid-response initiative for vulnerable migrants and asylum-seekers across New York State, in a contract-funded role through August 2026. The position manages the full lifecycle of legal applications, including printing, compiling, scanning, mailing, tracking, and maintaining digital files, as well as communicating with program participants and helping manage intake and scheduling. The role is based in NYC with a 4-days-per-week in-office requirement and regular travel within New York State.

The Development Coordinator supports the organization’s fundraising efforts across grants, individual giving, corporate philanthropy, and sponsorships. Reporting to the Development Director, the role focuses on grant writing and reporting, donor stewardship, events, and development operations, collaborating with executive and program staff to meet fundraising goals.
