Contest Every Race (CER) / Movement Labs

This temporary, part-time associate supports the Senior Director of Donor Development and the engagement team with meeting coordination, briefing materials, CRM upkeep, donor acknowledgements, and supporter communications. The role also helps organize fundraising campaigns and virtual or in-person events, research donor prospects, manage grant documentation, and coordinate Youth Advisory Council activities.
Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education
The Activity Specialist plans and delivers hands-on, age-appropriate after-school enrichment programming for elementary and middle school students. The role supervises youth, teaches activities such as sports, recreation, arts, and STEAM, supports program assistants, and maintains communication, records, supplies, and safety procedures.

The Tutoring Coordinator leads daily fall tutoring operations at a Newark site, including assessments, attendance, student scheduling, tutor coaching, and quality oversight. They also support tutor orientations and family-engagement workshops while coordinating closely with partnership and national staff.

The Library Assistant retrieves and delivers print and digital materials to support researchers and helps maintain access to databases, intranet resources, and subscriptions. They will assist with digitization and collection-management projects, compile usage data, maintain resource guides, and provide responsive service to staff and researchers.
Working Families Party
The fellow completes an electoral and advocacy training program while organizing direct voter contact and local electoral justice activities. They will recruit and facilitate a 15–20-person volunteer action team, hold community meetings, conduct relational outreach, map local power structures, and run phone banks, canvasses, and election-protection work. The fellow also represents the organization at coalition tables and transitions volunteer leadership into a member-led committee.
AidKit
Support applicants in a 12-month guaranteed-income program through phone, email, and text, using custom tools to answer questions and resolve application or payment issues. Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy, request corrections when needed, and escalate potential fraud concerns. The role also collaborates with program staff and may support occasional in-person outreach across Maui County.
Orange County United Way
This part-time specialist responds to helpline, email, text, and outreach inquiries, assesses client needs, and provides accurate referrals to community services. The role supports callers in crisis through de-escalation, warm transfers to emergency resources, advocacy, follow-up, and detailed documentation in the 211 database. The specialist also assists with reports, technology systems, and community outreach events.

The organizer manages direct voter contact and volunteer recruitment for an assigned Assembly campaign district. Responsibilities include canvassing, phone banking, planning GOTV events, training volunteers, staffing the candidate, coordinating with party field staff, distributing literature, and maintaining voter-contact data and trackers.
