Responsibilities include creating social and video content, drafting and proofreading communications, coordinating virtual and in-person events, maintaining schedules, and posting events to organizational platforms.

The intern will organize on campus during the 2026 summer and fall semesters, including booking tabling spaces, working two to three tabling shifts weekly, registering and engaging voters, and potentially helping establish a student chapter. The William Randolph Hearst Fellow supports the Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation through research, writing, logistics, and administrative work for leadership initiatives, public programs, and convenings. The fellowship is designed to introduce students to issues in philanthropy, social enterprise, nonprofits, and the broader social sector, and may be completed remotely or from the Washington, DC office.

The intern will support policy advocacy, research, organizing, and outreach projects focused on local and state policy advocacy in Michigan. Responsibilities include tracking policy and budget issues, conducting research on campaign areas such as inclusive education, immigration justice, language access, voting rights, and reproductive justice, and assisting with outreach, stakeholder engagement, meetings, and events.

The intern will support social media, storytelling, graphic design, media outreach, and communications campaigns. They will draft content, create graphics, research topics for news meetings, and work closely with the Communications and Civic Engagement teams.

Part-time canvassers will educate voters about the November 2026 General Election through door-to-door conversations in and around Fairfax, Virginia. The Human Resources Fellow is a five-month, full-time temporary role supporting HR functions across the employee lifecycle. The fellow will assist with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, record maintenance, compliance, policy implementation, employee relations, and HR communications while receiving mentorship and professional development support.

The Events & Activations Temp will provide administrative and program support for major fundraising events, including the National Dinner, Chefs for Equality, and related events. Responsibilities include auction procurement and tracking, database entry, bidder follow-up, raffle support, and on-site event support.

The Project Assistant will support day-to-day operations, events, meetings, and administrative needs for the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center. Responsibilities include preparing event materials, coordinating onsite and virtual convenings, supporting VIP and guest logistics, drafting correspondence and summaries, and assisting with research and special projects.

This temporary, paid, part-time internship supports community health education and outreach through the Ohio Center for Sex Education. The intern will help plan, market, implement, and evaluate education programs on reproductive health, STI prevention, family planning, and sexual health in schools and community settings.

The intern will create and publish multimedia content for Student Programs’ social media channels, website, and print materials. Responsibilities include designing digital and print graphics, paginating toolkits and reports, interviewing audience members, managing multimedia assets, and analyzing social media data.

This fellowship supports communications work through research, memo writing, slide deck creation, strategy assessment, copyediting, and drafting content such as social media posts and emails. The role is designed for someone who can quickly learn new topics and help translate complex issues into clear, persuasive messaging for clients.

This is a part-time fellowship supporting the campaign’s field and voter contact operation. The fellow will canvass, phone bank, text voters, recruit and train volunteers, and help staff campaign and community events while learning core organizing skills.

This temporary full-time remote role supports donors who give through the fundraising platform during the busy 2026 election cycle. The position focuses on handling donor inquiries by email and phone, triaging requests, preventing fraud, identifying platform issues, and meeting service quality and productivity standards.

This part-time campus-based organizing role supports youth voter engagement and turnout during the 2026 election cycle. The fellow will recruit and mobilize volunteers, run field activities like phone banks and canvasses, engage students online and in person, and work with campus political groups and local candidates.

Two paid internship tracks are offered: Communications Intern (reports to the Communications Director) and Digital Content Intern (reports to the Digital Strategist). Interns support advocacy communications and digital content—newsletters, press, social media, multimedia, and events—while gaining exposure to public-interest advocacy, financial regulation, and coalition work. Internships can last 3–12 months (up to a year).
