The internship involves assisting with website updates, content creation for blogs and social media, presentations, newsletters, and press materials. Responsibilities also include participating in communication strategies, supporting events, and completing a self-directed project.

The intern will support marketing and fundraising efforts, participating in projects such as research, writing, web and social media production, and multimedia content creation. The position offers exposure to a variety of issues including fair housing, grassroots advocacy, community development, and workforce development, and involves close collaboration between communications and development departments.

The Fellow will support community outreach, program development, and policy work for the NYC Community Interpreter Bank, focusing on engagement within Black immigrant communities. Responsibilities include organizing events, conducting outreach, evaluating programs, and supporting language access initiatives.
