The fellow will work with regional and cross-departmental colleagues to mobilize community members, respond to emerging issues, and strengthen long-term local organizing infrastructure.
Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party
This part-time campus-based organizing role supports youth voter engagement and turnout during the 2026 election cycle. The fellow will recruit and mobilize volunteers, run field activities like phone banks and canvasses, engage students online and in person, and work with campus political groups and local candidates.

This role supports DREAM alumni who are enrolled in college by providing advising, mentoring, re-enrollment support, and career and social-emotional guidance. The counselor manages a caseload of about 100 students, tracks progress in Salesforce, collaborates on events, and builds relationships with both high school staff and college partners.

Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund
Two paid internship tracks are offered: Communications Intern (reports to the Communications Director) and Digital Content Intern (reports to the Digital Strategist). Interns support advocacy communications and digital content—newsletters, press, social media, multimedia, and events—while gaining exposure to public-interest advocacy, financial regulation, and coalition work. Internships can last 3–12 months (up to a year).
SPUR
Student fellows complete a short summer fellowship that offers mentorship, flexibility, and hands-on experience, with opportunities to publish and present original research. The fellowship runs sometime between June 1 and August 31, and applications are reviewed starting April 1 with an April 30 deadline.

Support paid media client accounts by writing and QA’ing high volumes of fundraising and persuasion ad copy (P2P texts, Meta ads, Google Search) and helping execute digital advertising strategy. You’ll assist with campaign setup in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, contribute creative concepts and scripts, and support optimization and rapid-response content as news breaks. The role also provides short-term coverage for client communications needs, including meetings and follow-ups.
Minnesota House DFL
Field Organizers (multiple hires) will run core field operations in assigned Minnesota House districts for the 2026 cycle, reporting to a Regional Field Director. The role focuses on direct voter contact (doors/phones), volunteer recruitment and management, and coordination with candidates, caucus staff, and partner organizations to hit program goals and deadlines.
