The Dispatcher Organizer-in-Training runs core day labor center operations, including opening and closing the site, answering phones, issuing identification cards, maintaining worker and employer records, and dispatching workers to jobs. They help workers and employers negotiate fair work agreements, document and resolve conflicts, and support wage-theft claims. The position also builds worker leadership through outreach, one-on-ones, general-assembly follow-up, and workforce-training coordination.
